Scaling Up the Family Matters Model
In 2024-2025, we reached 188 more families than the previous year. Our Family Matters
approach has gained significant interest at a national level. Feedback from the Scottish
Government includes:
The model provides clear, positive outcomes aligned with Scotland’s school-aged childcare
strategy and child poverty goals.
Indigo offers unique flexibility and responsiveness, often challenging for public sector models
to replicate.
There is growing interest in exploring scalable pathways for Family Matters.
In recognition of this, Indigo was invited by the Scottish Government to lead a national workshop
focused on scaling effective family-centred childcare solutions.
