What We Do
Indigo is a triple award-winning social
enterprise that has been rooted in the Glasgow
area for over 30 years. Our mission is to
empower families to overcome poverty and its
associated challenges.
To support this mission, we provide a
comprehensive range of childcare services—
including early years care, out-of-school care,
youth services, and a mobile crèche—for children
aged 6 weeks to 16 years. Currently, we support
532 children and their families across Castlemilk
and the surrounding communities.
Through ongoing collaboration with families and
local residents, we identified the need for
expanded support services. In response, we
launched Family Matters—a universal,
community-informed model offering family
support alongside targeted speech and
development assistance.
